Position Summary
Safely and efficiently operate plant or mobile equipment at our Red Canyon Quarry. Perform light maintenance such as belt splicing, greasing and lubricating plant equipment, changing screens, replace troughing and return rollers on conveyance system etc. Operate a skid steer in and around the plant for cleanup purposes. Shoveling spillages in and around the plant. Working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Complete required reporting needs required of the job on a daily basis.
Requirements
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience required
Must be 18 or older to work on mine property
Safety focused
Previous experience in aggregate plant maintenance, heavy equipment/off road construction equipment,maintenance and mining experience preferred
Must be able to work any shift, extended hours including nights and weekends
Strong personal commitment to safety
Dependable, self-motivated and possess a positive attitude in working with others as a team
Lift 50 lbs
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen, physical & background check
