Registered Nurses in Pueblo & Canon City Needed! The Colorado Dept of Corrections (DOC) needs RNs to provide professional skilled nursing/patient care for incarcerated offenders in one or more of the following settings:
outpatient clinic, infirmary or specialized cell house setting; providing acute care, chronic support & emergency assessment & intervention as indicated. Our nurses collaborate w/ other clinical staff & they apply emergent &routine nursing process to provide physical care & treatment, administer medication, employ infection control measures, provide crisis intervention & interview & triage offender patients. Licensed Counselors & Social Workers Needed! NEW, HIGHER STARTING SALARY! $60,000 annually plus full benefit package! The DOC is seeking licensed professional counselors, marriage & family therapists, & clinical social workers to provide treatment in either the Mental Health Program or the Sex Offender Treatment Program. Mental Health Program-Social Workers & Counselors provide delivery of mental health services to offender population in compliance w/mental health guidelines to include assessment of mental health needs, individual & group therapy, & monitoring of offenders w/ mental illness. Sex Offender Treatment & Monitoring Program (SOTMP) -Counselors & Social Workers provide mental health identification, assessment, evaluation,& intensive sex offender treatment, including development & implementation of individual treatment plans; conduct group and individual therapy.
